Jeudi 6 juin, Thomas Voeckler était en repérage du circuit vélo de l’Ironman 70.3 Les Sables d’Olonne, en compagnie de Christophe et Nathalie Landais, dirigeants de MX3 et créateurs de la team MX3 Élite qui sera présente ce week-end à l’Ironman des Sables d’Olonne.
C’est un joli groupetto composé de Mathis Rocard, troisième relayeur de la team MX3 Élite, de Christophe et Nathalie Landais, dirigeants de MX3 et de Noély Aoued, collaborateur, qui est parti en reconnaissance des 90 kilomètres qu’effectuera Thomas Voeckler lors du relais aux cotés de ses deux coéquipiers, le nageur Mathis Rocard et le coureur Julien Cougnau.
Ils ont pu découvrir ensemble le parcours vélo qui conduira Thomas dans des paysages très variés de la Vendée. A commencer par l’assaut de la forêt d’Olonne à travers les marais puis la traversée de la campagne environnante avant de revenir vers la côte avec en fond l’océan Atlantique.
